This location is small but in ways is their service. Friendly and helpful. Came here to get copies of keys made. Went to the information desk area and asked to have the keys made. The person directed me to where to go and the tech was there before I even got there! Wow. That was service and I didn't have to wait.

I Came In To Cut New House Keys, Yup That Were All Cut Perfectly & All Of Them Work. I Also Had Some Questions About Some Milling Work For The Rental Unit's For My Cousin . I Also Bought A Bottle Of Simple Green & Other Needed Stuff. I Like The Nice Friendly Staff, Oh Yeah Who Work Very Hard To Give That Awesome Customer Service And Advice You Need. I Totally Recommend This Place For All Your Home Repair Needs. I Have To Say They Are More Knowledgeable Than Home Cheapo.

A 20 year veteran here..... First time and last time, shopping at a dixieline lumber. Needed a few things for the house and Thought I found a little hidden gem. Apparently the gem was more like a rotten tomatoe. After spending over $200 for little odds and ends I was accused of stealing or trying to steal. After 39 years I've never been accused of stealing before, I guess there's always a first. Not sure what's wrong with the staff here.... Maybe it's because they're so close to the border and they're so accustomed to thievery? Or maybe because it's in Chula Vista? I'm not really sure. But what I am sure of is next time, Ill just go to home depot. At least there I won't be accused of theft.

I prefer Dixieline more now than Home Depot because it's not as crowded and you get better customer service here. You might not find the exact material you were looking for, but they have a lot of varieties.

I was greeted at the door by an associate , I asked my question, and he immediately knew what I was talking about. He directed me to the item, and it only took me less than 10 minutes to make my purchase . That was easy !

It amazes me about all the stellar prior reviews I read here. I wish my own experience were so nice. Yesterday I called for a 14mm tap. She puts me on hold for a few minutes to go check. Comes back and tells me they don't carry metric taps. Knowing this isn't true, I tell her I've bought them there before. But she insists that she checked and all they carried was standard (SAE) taps. Ok, no problem. Then I went to Grocery Outlet today and since it's a couple doors down from DLine, I went and looked. LO AND BEHOLD there was the vary 14 X 1.25 tap I needed. As a matter of fact, there was an entire row of metric taps. So, I buy one because my customer had to take a day off so I could fix his car and the because the auto parts stores aren't any better these days, I took it while it was there. What has happened to -Job pride -Knowing what you're doing -Caring about what your doing. Come on folks...let's get it together.

Employees are too busy talking amongst themselves. Almost no one is on the sales floor. I was in the store yesterday and had to ask for help 3 separate times for a quote on closet doors. The third time I asked for help is when someone finally went over to the back of the store only to tell me the people in charge of giving those quotes weren't even available on Sundays and are available during the week. When I did check out for some items it took me over 5 minutes to get an employee to check me out because they were all too busy talking to each other. Today I've called 2 separate times and have left voicemails and so far no one has returned any of my calls.
